I've had photoshop for like two years.

XD I'm still figurings out new things here and there. I don't read tutorials, man, I fiddle.

Blends? You mean, like, merging pictures and overlapping with slight transparency and stuff? If that's what you're trying to do, fiddle with the layer opacities and types.
