Exactly 13 years ago on this day, I played X-Com for the first time. I mention this rather trivial fact because my brother downloaded the entire game a few days ago and we have both been playing it nonstop since then. It is a testament to the game’s designers that even though the graphics and sound are now quite antiquated by today’s standards; it’ ( Read more... )

I was able to try the Wii in HK, ang saya nga niya! Leave it to Nintendo to innovate once again. haha Unfortunately I am also a poor teacher kaya hanggang demo lang ako sa Toys R Us.

I know the name has been bashed a lot on the net, but I quite like it. Even the sound alone, Wii, reminds one of fun.

I never really believed in Santa Claus, because as a kid, what we would do was go to the mall 2 or 3 weeks before christmas and have a shopping spree. My mom would then proceed to wrap such gifts and put them underneath the tree. I'd pass by everyday in anticipation of tearing up the wrapping paper and just playing with the toys. It sometimes becomes unbearable especially on Christmas Eve. So what we ended up doing was going to mass on Christmas Eve and then having Noche Buena around 1130, afterwards opening our lovely presents. :D

It's kind of interesting to see how the different practices go but eventually we all end up opening our presents and playing with our toys. :-p

Yes, different practices but all culminating in frenzied gift opening!

As we get older we can afford pricier things, but for sheer fun factor, it's hard to beat toys. :)

yeah... the wii is so much fun... especially watching people get into accidents with it. broken furniture, broken appliances, broken bones, bruised faces--of anyone who happens to be in the same room. ^_^

when i was a kid i'd open my gifts as soon as i got them and then wrap them up again so i can tear them open on christmas day... O_o

actually, i seldom got toys... my parents, aunts, uncles and grandparents were never really into the santa theme... i got money envelopes for christmas ^_^

happy new year rabbit!
