Imagine a world class violinist, a genius who cobbled together his first musical instrument at the age of 4, posing as a street musician in a subway stop during rush hour. Would anyone recognize him? I think the results would have been different here in our country. People would gather and point and laugh at the poor bloke who has grand illusions of living off music.

Worse yet, di lang music but classical music. A sure ticket to a hungry stomach and the poor house.

I once became convinced I fell in love with a cellist who played by the ferry docks near Alcatraz.

She had the most beautiful sea green eyes. She played in a quartet with two violins and a double bass; all manned by men. He hair was the color of chestnuts and thick honey-- it flapped uncooperatively in the cold bay are wind.

Wow! Such a good read! I was seriously getting goose bumps and my nipples got hard, literally, how's that for beauty that's arresting. :p

I hope you don't mind if I post this on my journal! The journal though now very pretty, still lacks certain sensibilities that I once had.
