Star Trek: Picard: 1x03: The End is the Beginning
I am... only two episodes behind now?
Well, by the end at least he's put his crew together: a woman who hates him for getting her kicked out of Starfleet after he resigned over the Romulan thing, a random pilot dude she knows, and the doctor from the Daystrom Institute. I am sad that his housekeepers aren't going, because he clearly needed them to save him from the Tal Shiar who tried to kill him this episode.
Anyway, there's some more espionage, and Soji meeting Hugh who directs the Borg program on the cube -- he looks very different with, like, actual hair, and I wouldn't have recognized him if the internet hadn't said it was him -- and he introduces her to a partly-assimilated Romulan and Soji knows things about her she shouldn't know and she knows things about Soji and it is all Very Mysterious. And also Narek continues to be sneaky.
And now they're off to Freecloud. Wherever Freecloud is.
Man, I am enjoying this but it is sure taking them a while to get going.
