A good friend just told me the news that in August he is more than likely moving back to Seattle. The whole thing got me thinking...man. Do I REALLY want to move back to Austin? I mean, let's face it...while there is some opportunity there, and most of my closest friends live there, wouldn't it make more sense to move somewhere out of the blue once

The only reason I hesitate to recommend California is that it's polluted as hell, and the cost of living is stratospheric. I don't blame you for looking beyond Texas as a potential home, but I'm not sure it's ideal...
