Cross-Canada post, part the first

Alright, so I should have updated long before this, but I didn't and if anyone is actually surprised at that, then they don't know me very well at all. :D  I am currently in Ottawa at the Ottawa International Hostel, which used to be the Carleton County Gaol.  I have been traveling west on the train, headed for Vancouver and giving myself the month
