So heartbreak is a bitch. I hate it when you get to know someone, you give them feelings, and then they dump you and act like nothing ever happened between the two of you. Well, lesson learned. I'm not going to give my heart out like that anymore. I'm going to go back to putting up a wall when it comes to giving my emotions to any one person

Heartbreaks suck.I just wrote something in my lj somewhat similar to you about how I have built a wall to keep out those who will only wind up hurting me.It comes from past experiences.I too am afraid of giving my heart away but I know one day I will to the right lady.I just have to be careful and not be too hasty to open my heart to teh first person who comes along(which is what usually happens)I've gotten to a point where I really don't know if I can ever feel love again,it just seems so far away,distant and unreachable in my mind
