It's an elegantly done piece. I enjoy the contrasts of scenes and the very well-defined difference in the epiphanies each individual you discuss has. It's a really deep post, and a great reflection of the varying ways I see *Kid* identifying the true breakthroughs of being a warrior.

Something about this first verse...

She sits near the road
And states that she is Justice.
I end her weeping.

Reminds me of Sally and Kid. Like if he ever had to put her down this is what he should say.

It's really funny. My WMP is trying to be cute and psychic, because it just decided to play Hero by Nickelback and -that- song makes me think of both Kid and Sally.

At any rate, I really enjoyed the twists and turns inherent in how this went. You're rightfully proud...it's a good read and very...cinematic isn't quite the right word, but I can picture it and it's got awesome imagery.

It's amazing to see Kid evolving and changing. Growing up. Kid to Man, Man to Warrior, Warrior to human.
