So far, this broken foot thing sucks. I have entirely too much to do for this. It's so hard to get anything accomplished when I have to rely on other people to give me rides here and there and open doors for me and all. Don't get me wrong, everyone has been great. Really great. It's just frustrating

I'm pretty sure you missed all of my random rants before Joel and I got engaged, but I felt that way too. Especially since it really did seem quite unfair that all those people who'd dated for shorter periods of time and who were a lot younger than me were getting engaged. Then, out of nowhere, BAM! I'm engaged, and then before I knew it, I was married. Trust me, it sucks waiting, but the wait is definitely worth it.
Now, about the whole "I'm the old fart in the class" bit. You aren't old. I will always be older than you, and I am still in class, and probably will be for a really long time. :)
