She had attempted to contact her brother in the past week, trying to see if he was doing alright after everything. She figured he might need a bit to recover, and that he may want some time alone with Raivis after what they'd all gone through...
But after an entire week of him not answering her calls, she decided to head to his apartment. There was something wrong, she knew, and she was going to find him and help him, come hell or high water.
The desperate cry was forced out of a voice that had barely been used in a very long time. Kaito slammed the door open so hard that it crashed into the wall adjacent to it. The vocaloid stood before Luka, his huge blue eyes seeming to stare through her and a large expectant smile on his face.
He was still dressed in the same ripped uniform he wore when he was split in the persona battle. Like last time Raivis had disappeared Kaito was thin again, but this time he seemed worse for wear as well. His new body had deep dark sagging bags beneath his eyes and along the side of his pale face was a long river of dried blood. It led up to just above his left temple that had been dug into and dried over into a huge scab.
Slowly, Kaito's eyes adjusted to the light. He saw the bright pink hair of a young woman. Kaito's face furrowed into a scowl.
"GO AWAY!" He screamed, slamming the door shut. "You're not... I'm waiting for Raivis!"
Luka's face filled with worry for her brother when she took in his appearance, but as soon as the door slammed in her face, she knew it was time to take action.
She slammed the door right back open, took a step forward, and sent a hard slap to the side of Kaito's face.
"Snap out of this!" she nearly shrieked. "Do you think Raivis would want you wasting away like this, sitting here and doing nothing but being miserable?"
When he was hit the vocaloid curled up in a ball on the floor holding his cheek.
"Leave me alone!" He felt his eyes start to water. "I-I have to stay inside! I can't do anything! If I show up and I die he disappears!" The hand on his cheek travels to the scab and the fingertips started to dig.
"Everything will be better when he gets back! A-and then I'm never going to do anything again! I'm not going to lose him anymore!"
Noticing that the vocaloid hasn't been around lately, the soldier decides to pay a visit in order to check up on him. His sister was starting to worry about Kaito as well.
Arriving at the correct apartment, he knocks on the front door.
((ooc: When I first read that I thought that the 'his sister was worried too' comment meant that Kresnik was doing something because he was thinking of Luka XD ))
It was seconds before the door that Kresnik had knocked on was suddenly slammed open. Kaito stood in the door frame his large blue eyes glossy as he stared at the one he called his best friend. His hair was messed up and oily, his ripped clothes the same ones that he had been killed in during the final battle with Shinju's shadow. His body that he had owned for about a month was thin for even Kaito's standards. His large eyes slowly stopped it's constant stare through the soilder and finally looked at him.
Kaito stared a few seconds before shouting 'Go away!' and slamming the door shut again.
Kresnik frowned as he took in the vocaloid's appearance. To put it bluntly, he looked terrible and probably hasn't showered in days. In addition, Kaito looked thinner than normal, and that was saying something.
"..." He knocks on the door again when it slams in his face.
