Has anyone heard from Hikaru lately? I know that the woman who was hurting people is incapacitated right now, but I...well, I don't know why I'm worried. I just am.

[ /filter ]I haven't been following this election very closely, I'm afraid, but I haven't met either of the candidates at any rate and so couldn't ( Read more... )

I swear to god, if I wasn't so young, I would love to jump into politics.

I- I haven't heard from her since I came back. I'm sorry.

Really, Lady? Are you interested in the warden position?

[filter; unhackable]
It's okay. I probably shouldn't be worried. I'm sure someone's heard from her.

... Well. I- debatable, honestly.

Wolfwood, I would assume. Wait, now I remember.

She was asking how I was once Dante decided to hoard me at his place.

What makes you think you might not want to take the position?

[filter; unhackable]
Mmm, yes. I don't really know him, so I can't contact him to ask if he's heard from her.

How long ago was that?

I'm sure those that have will make the best decision for the position.

How have you been, Nill?

I've been fine. A little tired, and I can't shake this headache, but nothing to worry about.

Have you been keeping busy?

I'm afraid I don't know Hikaru. Do you know where she was last?

Seras has been doing a good job so far, so I'm voting for her. But I'll not bail out of the force if she doesn't win.

Mm, the last time I saw her, she was here. She had been staying with us, during the investigation to find Amanda.

Mmm, it would make sense to have someone that is familiar with the position retain it, providing they want to.

And I'm not sure I could picture you bailing out of the force under any circumstances, Luke.

Have you checked the Hall of the Missing? It might not be the most comforting notion, but it'd be best to know.

I guess.

I haven't, actually. I haven't really left this apartment in a couple of days--I've been keeping an eye on Rem. She could probably be left alone, but I don't think she would like to wake up by herself, right now.

How are you?

Oh? There's an election. How curious. Doesn't everyone know that order is just an illusion?

sing_my_faith June 19 2008, 04:28:18 UTC
I know that, in this place, order seems like it doesn't exist, but I'm sure that if we didn't have the measures we have now, then everything would be much more chaotic.

I think everything is chaotic already, but everyone blankets it with pleasantries to put their own minds at ease. It makes one wonder what will happen when that blanket is lifted.

So you think that order can't exist at all?

People need to believe that order exists. If they didn't--if they believed that there were no rules to govern them--then it would only encourage more chaos.
