I don't have much to say on this. Saints dont really mean much of anything to me. But it does provide an interesting insight on these people. I find the consistency of Love to be thought provoking. I dont feel that you can measure love. You can measure how you feel for a pet, or a friend, but I think has more to do with something else. Love isn't as emotionally attached, but more of just understanding and compassion. Love isnt something that can be measured or put into degrees. I agree with your comment though that "we try to pin down into concrete understandings," try to put into words and organize things that we really dont have words to describe. Words are extremely limited, and they cause us to think extremely limitedly, then we try to formulate ideas, about love for example. The mind is just obsessed with organizing things, providing that comfort of securtiy. I know this because I watch my own do it and as I try to become more aware of its inner workings. Word.
