Hello anonymous author friend! My apologies for taking so long to fill this out. Below, I've expanded on my requests a bit, but please feel free to ignore the specifics and do whatever you please; regardless, I'm sure I will be happy. However - if you are filling my Haven request, please do read below for some stuff about spoilers.
The Newsroom; Don, Sloan; post-kiss, pretty please.
I am obsessed with these two. And when I say obsessed, I mean obsessed, so it is kind of killing me to wait to find out more, so just...more. More is what I want. More anything.
Orphan Black; Beth Childs; I crave Beth's backstory so much. It basically doesn't matter what it involves - Paul, Alison, Cosima, Art, her childhood, her suicide - literally anything will make me happy.
I adore Beth. I adore her so much from the pieces of her life that OB has sort of tempted me with and I just adore them all. I love the fact that Beth supposedly had this hard-ass exterior, but you can see all her vulnerabilities in the people who knew her - Paul's concern about meds, Art's fondness for her, Alison's reaction to her loss, and I would like to know more about any and all of these things. If you would like a little more guidance, I should note that my favourite of Beth's relationships are her relationship with Paul and her relationship with Alison, so if you wanted to explore either of those that would probably give me all the feels.
Haven; Audrey Parker, Duke Crocker, Nathan Wuornos; I just want everyone to love everyone and no one to go into barns.
I have a lot of feelings about the dynamic between Duke, Nathan, and Audrey, so I'd like to see that explored. I do like a little emotional tension Haven-related things, so it doesn't have to be all sunshine and rainbows or anything, but I'd like some romantic exploration. Also, while I'd prefer OT3 kind of things, I am also fine with love triangle kind of things.
NB: I have only watched like one episode of the current season of Haven and I would prefer to avoid spoilers, so please keep anything pre-season four.
Lady Audley's Secret; Robert Audley, George Talboys, Clara Talboys; Threesomes are the only way to resolve all the homoerotic undertones while still maintaining some sense of Victorian propriety, amirite?
Okay, firstly, I cannot imagine anyone volunteering to write fic for this novel, but if for some reason you did, you are awesome and HOLY CRAP, IS THIS BOOK NOT SPECTACULAR?
I'm really interested in this novel because it is the greatest, obviously, but also from lots of nerdy perspectives on Victorian literature and codes surrounding moral propriety and the way we all pretend the Victorians weren't totally obsessed with sex when really they were. So I guess if I were to read fic about this book I would want it to (subtly) explore some of those things. There's so much evidence for an argument to be made about Robert's homosexuality and so many questions about homosocial bonding, and I think the idea of these three engaging in some kind of three-way relationship (or just sex life) is made all the more interesting by the fact that despite her distinct femininity, Clara is described in semi-masculine terms a lot of the time.
This is starting to sound a bit like an essay, but basically what I'm looking for here is a) Robert being gay and b) incest. And as I said, if you offered to write fic for this novel you are already awesome, so whatever you do is guaranteed to be awesome.
