The day after Christmas...and back to work...

Well Christmas has come and gone. Crazy. I had a very nice couple of days. Christmas Eve I sang at two church masses with the church folk group. I enjoyed doing this. My voice needs to blend and I ended up singing soprano...and I was amazed at how much progress my classical voice has made. I was really proud of myself. You shouldn't be angry at God for your grandmother's illness. It sounds like she is a very strong woman, and so God knows she is capable of carrying this burden. He knows that her faith will bring her out of this situation in whatever way it is, whether going to heaven, or being fully cured. No one knows what God's purposes are, but perhaps he is using your grandmother as an instrument to help and encourage other people, and her positive attitude sounds like a great testimony to that. Remember, "All things work together for the good of those that love God" (Romans 8:28) and while you may not see what that good is now or even a year from now, eventually you will. I felt the same way when my grandmother had her legs amputated, but I soon realized that GOd works for a reason, and if we knew all the answers, then we would be Him, and luckily we are not. This experience, I am sure, will increase your grandmother's faith, as it has with mine. Whatever happens, know that it is in God's hands, and there is no better place to be than thay ( ... )

Thank you. You are very helpful...and your words are eloquently spoken. You are so awesome. Hopefully the tumor is not cancerous. I want her to be around to see me get married. If that day ever comes. Thanks for your support.
