I went to all the trouble of writing a long update on Sunday about what we had been up to but my laptop decided to die and I consequently lost the whole entry. I was so annoyed that I decided not to go to the trouble of rewriting the entry on Sunday

If I am writing a particularly long entry, I'll save it as I go in a separate text document, so that if I lose it, I'll have a back-up of it. Or at least most of it. It's so frustrating to write a long entry and then lose it by accident. I know the feeling.
