Oh man I'm so used to Evie being about to die and then not that I kept scanning that last paragraph like "...what did I miss? Did I miss the part where she didn't die?"
On the plus side, if she was going to go out (which I've been predicting since the start of season 2) that's the way it should have been - saving Sam. She was, let's be honest, a pretty useless mother so it's good she managed to do something for the kid, and in terms of arc it's a pretty nice transition from the ruthless machivellian pragmatist of Season 1 to someone willing to sacrifice themselves like that, especially knowing what she was going into. Also if I'm being brutally honest it's probably no more than she deserved...

Also I guess I now can't say that falling in a hole's the lamest death ever, right? *insert Evie = proto!SamWinchester argument here*

WHY CAN'T BOTH OF THEM BE ALIVE? AT THE SAME TIME? FOR MORE THAN THIRTY SECONDS?
Haaaaa, yes! InnerSam is slightly glad his death was vindicated, but also feels kind of bad for being glad about that. xD
