Yeah well, I might be able to get my dogs to put up with just about anything but it'll be awhile before candy lines that muzzle. He's got no control right now - although his "sit" is getting better. Hopefully by the end of next week, he'll have learned "Stay" "Down" and "No" 'cause right now those are mysteries. :)
It was really nice to see that they're both cold lovers. They had a blast thundering around on the frosted deck this morning. Sounded like Santa's eight not-so-tiny reindeer had come to visit early. O.O
Already done my friend. I've got a collar of giant jingle bells...and the santa hat(s), and a couple of sets of reindeer antlers, and the elf hat... :D
He is BEAUTIFUL!! Kia looks so happy in that first photo...
Congrats on the new boy!! I look forward to many stories of the two of them getting to know each other and coming up with new ways to ruin any sleep you may get. ;)
Well, we've already had the whining/pacing, the Canine Wrestlemania and the sneak attack kisses on the back of the sleeping human's neck...I don't even want to think about what else they might plot up.
I thought I was a tried & true husky girl until I met Dane. They don't have quite as much brain power and are still independant and aloof like a husky but they make up for it with clowny teddy bear dog attitude at home and unflinching loyalty outside of it.
Be prepared for lots and lots of hair. I'm covered in it today. :)
I bet it would be a rather perfect match, I like dogs like that I think. On the other hand, I'm not sure if I'm enough of a dog-person. You have to put lots of time and energy in a dog, and in that light I'm more a cat-person I think. But we're far far away from a house with a big garden, so no decisions yet. And I don't even know if we'll ever have that so hmm...
But lots of hair is no problem at all... We're already covered by kitty-hairs ;)

Maybe some rice crispie treats would help with the training and possibly make him change his mind about rice.
