Habit

I've decided that I'm going to make myself start updating more often. Apparently LJ is a habit, break it once and you have to retrain yourself all over again.

Dante the Dorkinator and I are signing up for obedience training with one of Idaho's top trainers. Considering it's been about 8 years since I've been in any sort of obedience course and I ( Read more... )

And I think B. Snaily might have kicked it. He glued himself to his cardboard box on Sunday night and hasn't moved in three days nor responded to the usual efforts to rouse him
It's probably pining for the fjords

Yeah, you lost me on the fjords thing too. Sorry.

Good news though. He was back to his old self this morning. Weird little creatures - no wonder the French eat them.

You Philistine, it’s obviously from the ‘The Dead Parrot‘ sketch. ‘Pining for the fjords’… ‘what kind of talk is that?’, and you’re supposed to say ‘ Look, why did it fall flat on its back the moment I got home’.
It just reminded me when you said it was just stuck there, of the bit about the only reason it’s sitting on its perch is because it was nailed there.

Looking forward to see you again here :)

Good luck with the rat-sitting, it would be a typical thing to happen of course, but I'm crossing the fingers that he sees his owners again!

would be nice to see you around more.

Good luck with Dante and hopefully the rat will pull through. No idea what's going on with snaily...

I am so excited for you and Dante to meet Paula. She is hysterical! It's pretty hard for a dog to catch Beck, she has Yoda genes and levitates. I am sure Dante will lap Cassius in 8 weeks no problem.
Good luck with the rats. I would be worried sick about having to make the discovery/phone call.

I spent a couple of hours with the boys this afternoon. Keeb felt good enough to eat Baskin Robbins with me and Whiskey continued his campaign to make me part of his harem. Mechelle was disgusted with him last night - I'm just calling him Romeo.

I am really starting to worry again though so I'll head over again in a few minutes. If Keeb decides to go, it'll be in the middle of the night. I want to make sure he goes as easily as possible but I'm mainly concerned that poor Whiskey doesn't get traumatized any more than necessary.

While I was there, the neighbor's border collie mix pup figured out that there's this cool puppy-sized hole in the fence so I got some pseudo Beck snugglage carrying him back over to his house. :)
