Life can be pretty suprising at times and this time it wasn't a good surprise. Why is it when you have something good going it never lasts. I'm still lost, hurt and confused. I wanted this to work but it's hard when only one person does.

I went through pretty much the same thing about a year and a half ago. It still stings a little bit to this day just because it was a very bad break-up and we didn't part as friends. These things can never be easy, can they? Matters of the heart never are.

I just wanted to let you know that just because I'm Chris' friend does not mean we have to stop being friends. I had such a great time with you when I was up there last summer. And besides, a couple of musicians like us have to stick together. :)

I know for certain he's the one that's missing out, whether or not he realizes it yet. You're beautiful and a gem of a person. But this could very well be a blessing. I'm positive there is someone better out there for you. If you ever need a good girl-talk, I'm here.
