Yay for angsty ill-advised Pride fucks!

I would totally not turn down the chance to see Katee Sackhoff in a USAF uniform. The very thought makes me giddy.

ETA: Kara would refer to herself as an Airman, not a soldier (as in: "...strange young airmen?"). Air Force personnel don't like being called soldiers. Those are Army. :D

Oh, this is awesome. Love how this transitions, and Kara's POV is perfect for this. They fit so well together, and I love how they just go with it. The ending is so beautiful and lovely.

There's so much in this 'verse. I could read so much more of it, but I love all the snippets you gave us here.

I'm so glad you finished this. The Immortal Goddesses needed it. ♥ ♥ ♥

Oh....just oh.

From flirty and funny and sexy to aching and sad. I loved this. Such a perfect rif on canon only with Laura/Kara. I love Laura's strength here. I can see Kara not being able to let the parting stand as it was and I'm glad she went to go see her. And Billy not accepting it. /sniffle

Gah. I'm not supposed to be teary eyed on a Friday night!

Wonderful fic.

Oh, Gods...this was so cute and sassy at the start, and I loved all the great mental images...and then you took me down the BSG rabbit hole of misunderstandings, secret-keeping, and the final acts. It's just masterful how you've woven so many of the canon touches into the Immortal Goddesses's fic. Lovely and hot and so, so bittersweet. They both are such a great mix of strength and vulnerability here, and such a nice touch of Billy, as well :-)

I am literally crying. Sometimes, I use “crying” as a way to describe tears on the inside alongside the sound of my heart shattering to pieces, because I have to retain a semblance of sanity in front of my family doesn’t usually do it, but not right now. Right now, I am literally crying as I finished this beautiful, but heart-rending read (not aided by the fact that overly relevant lyrics of Sara Bareilles' "Gonna Get Over You" popped up in my iTunes). I love the way their lives intersect - both in the AU and the way the AU crosses and weaves in and out of canon. I have to say that with each “Such service, Captain Starbuck.” I got progressively more choked up. I knew what was coming with the ‘helpful’ hints you had dropped with Laura’s wistfulness and the easy connection with canon. That still doesn’t stop the pain though ( ... )
