The pictures are early this year. I've taken a few on my phone of kids and things. If you haven't seen them on Facebook/Twitter/Instagram, stick around. Oh, and, I feel much safer posting kid pictures here. Especially since Blondie started following me on Instagram and immediately named one of the two kids I've ever put on Instagram. Not making

I'm glad you are still in touch with Blondie. Some of your kids are going to do well in life.

Blondie will be just fine. Not because of anything I did for her in 4th grade, but because she has some brains under that blonde hair, she has good supportive parents, and belief in God.

She e-mailed me in a panic a couple of hours ago because there'd been a stabbing incident in her neighborhood (near school!), and she was scared. It was so nice to be able to reply: "You know what to do: Pray for God's protection..."

A few of my kids will do well in life, yes.

A few of my kids are going to end up on the news as perps or victims.

The art teacher did the long banners of art; I just did the one bulletin board.

We used to get a crack on the noggin if we 'laid down to work'. Of course, times were MUCH different then.

I always get nostalgic when I see pics of children in school. It was such a good time in my life. I could never teach, though. No patience.

With that particular third grader, ya pick yer battles. Picking her head up off the table isn't a battle I have the energy to fight this late in the year. She won't get away with it next year.

I love taking pics of the kids at work. It's proof I actually teach them something. :)
