self employment gripes

One difficulty with self employment is accountability and supervision. I crave both, and have had to put lots of time into estabishing these whereas being employed by someone provides these services automatically. Now I am writing my application for the junior field placement year of the Social Work Degree program, and I need 2 references. I

The president didn't feel comfortable writing me a recommendation. But the clinical director will!!!

The benefits of self employment really do outweigh the struggles. I just get existentially frustrated sometimes.

well... not the execution per se, but the fact as another corruptor of the minds of youth, that I'm in good company...
