I hadn't even noticed that there was anything different until you commented. I changed my layout about a week or so ago (for the first time since I initially selected a layout), and am still getting used to the new one, so ... colour me oblivious.

(which begs the question, what colour is oblivious? Grey like a storm cloud building in the distance? Taffeta swirly like oil in the rain puddle? Or bright sunny yellow like a summer day in June that defines the season but never is?)
