You really have to wonder about what happens when you're data frozen. I mean, sure. You're reeeeally out of it for say, oh, two, three weeks? However long you're frozen for. But what also happens? Don't you get stiff from being in one position for so long, or does Yggdrasil actually have mercy on the ones he freezes ( Read more... )

If Data frozen is anything like walking through a piece of solid time as I did recently, then maybe my experience is common. When I was unfrozen I didn't experience anything odd like that. In fact I had been in midstep and didn't stumble upon resuming my walk.

I was pretty disoriented...it was like when we started walking it was early morning but in like half a second it was late afternoon.

Ahaaa, I see. I was actually getting out of bed when I froze. I'm not sure I remember exactly what happened, but I might have gotten up at midnight-ish and couldn't get back to sleep, and when I went to go get some water or something I froze.

The Data Freeze stops all data in the world from affecting you, except you being moved. For instance - dust can't settle on you, fingerprints can't be left on you, and new germs or biological factors from other biological beings can't affect you. You're basically just a big heavy block of frozen nonexistence.

Hey, sweet, I didn't exist for two or three weeks! Not like that's any different from back home.
