Well, I'm back from Thanksgiving with the family. Lots of good food; I think this was one of my parent's more successful turkey dinners. I got to see a bunch of cousins and other assorted relatives that I hadn't seen in a while, so there was some good catching up

I have a very pro-lifer family, but if you get them drunk enough to tell the truth, they're taking pregnant teen-aged daughters to clinics, and weren't happy at all with my choice to raise two children while in my teens, even though one was by adoption and the second by fertility medication.

You're making me worry about possibly meeting more of your family around Christmas. I usually have more trouble biting my tongue than you do. I guess I've not had any argument with your dad yet.

I don't talk to my father's side of the family about much of politics. Of course, I can talk to my mother openly, so that makes it a bit easier. On the other hand, the older one gets, the more calloused the tongue becomes from biting.
