Someone apparently made a mistake when leaving her phone number on one of these sites where 10,000 people call you with bids, and left OUR phone number...and as a result we are getting 30 phone calls a day from companies that want to move us to Arizona, starting at 8am and going 'til 9pm. Except they don't want to move us, they want to move someone

Our old phone number was one digit off from the electric company's customer service number for our area. Eventually we changed our phone message to say "Hello, you have not reached (electric company)! If you were trying to reach (ec) to report a power outage, the number is #. If you were calling for cjmr or d_84, please leave a message and we'll call you right back!" And then we didn't answer the phone for nine months (until we moved and got a new number).
