I'm not sure I'd ever travel back to do NDK as a con, to be honest, especially when there's D*C on the table, but it's awesome hanging out with the Denver girls.
God, I hope so. This set me back a little farther than I was anticipating. But between the panels of Belle's gown and the ruffling I'm gonna need to deal with for PMX, I think it'll be an enormous time saver. It seems totally fantastic for making ruffled trims and such, but I'm gonna have to experiment quite a lot to get the hang of "what settings do I need to get x length of fabric into y length of ruffles?" But getting repeatable results might make up for that really quickly.
The main thing seems to be choosing the right fabrics. I'm using some leftover red from my zero cape lining, and get two pretty different results depending on which way I cut the fabric (mainly do to with the burning stage). I'd hoped to get some good results with the leftover gold from Zero as well, but I just can't make those roses look right. Hoping to find something else that'll coordinate to try it with!

Oooo, I really should invest in a ruffler foot. I'm curious so see how you use it to help make the roses!
