+ that our cells send little beams of light to each other, which basically turns the inside of our body into a starry sky

ohh! that makes me unbelievably happy! :D

actin? mmmhh February 5 2004, 09:30:35 UTC
i dunno if you have ever been told or not....but i do think you're really good at "actin"...i mean the way you are in your selfportrait, the way you look in the camera, smile, put your eyes in a certain way...have you ever acted? i mean theatre or somethin like that? its hard to do selfportrait for lots of reasons but i do think you make it seems so easy..like you're there and then there's this super clever photographer who's able to make you move and act to paint always perfect pics...and then i realize that you're both of them the model and the photographer...the colors and the shades in these serie is so dramatic! so deep...and (sorry if i may sound stupid to say this) i do think you have a very special beauty, unique and uncommon,it seems to me like you were a famous beautiful '20s deaf-movies star...and you're intense (i dunno if in english does mean somethin like in italian)...i mean not a beauty which is to look at and stop but somethin you look at and then you think at...does this make sense to you? mmmm ok ko i go....sorry for ( ... )

that makes perfect sense and you are right about the acting.

I studied acting for two years or so and did some plays too. whenever I have to talk about my photos I always mention that for about two years acting and the theater were my whole life because that influenced me and taught me a lot and I really think that my photos would be a lot worse if I had never played at being an actress. It was really important to me to go through that experience and I am very aware that what I learned plays a very important part in my self-portraits.

and I have an odd face, that too :P

it's the best odd face ever. i'm not going to gush about it, and you hear it all the time, but you really are exceptionally beautiful in a lovely way. the kind of way that reminds me that i'm glad i'm a girl and i'm glad i'm a human because both are so amazing.
