I guess that you'll just have to create one! You can't tell me that that idea doesn't sound cool. I mean, you're already an ADF Dedicant... that's all that you really need, other than one more member. Can't Proto-Groves be created by just a couple of people???

Keep in mind that when I joined ADF there were no groves outside of Chicago. Between me and the new one by St. Louis, we are covering an entire half a state. Even pagan-friendly areas (as Southern Illinois ostensibly is) can be groveless.

You only need yourself to start a PG. It's hard by yourself, but not impossible. If you want any tips, I'm around. Also, if you want advice on being a solitary (as might happen), I know ALL about that.

Have you contacted SIPA (Southern Illinois Pagan Assc.)? I know they cover a large portion of the area and may now of more people who would be interested in joining...granted I may have just earned a butt-kicking from a family member now.

No, not yet. They're mostly in and around Carbondale, which is 3+ hours south of me.

None have ever been planted there, simple as that. But when I started looking into the Denver community a few months ago, they really just seem to be lacking "critical mass" and someone to "plant the seed."

There's a lot of potential there.

There are quite a few members in Colorado. Someone just needs to lead the process and herd those cats ;) May as well be you.

when you get there - spread the word, walk your virtues, lead with your heart and you will be our red headed step grove...
