On the one hand the internet can be scary, and I understand why some parents are concerned, but on the other hand, I dont understand why some parents go overboard! In case you didnt know, that is the reason I'm no longer involved with TCT, because a parent didnt do their job of keeping track of what their kid was doing online(they didnt know the kid was talking ALL NIGHT, like 2 or 3 am on school nights, etc.) and rather than monitor their kid, they went to the board and created a policy banning adults involved with TCT from talking on the internet! However, I do agree tho that kids blogs SHOULD be friends only...these are your personal thoughts, and shouldnt be read by strangers, school admninistrators or anyone you dont choose to show them to, since they are your PERSONAL thoughts!
