Why is it that I always get screwed over when it comes to drama? I worked so hard, just as hard as the people who earned their awards, and all I got were two star stickers that I could have gone to JoAnn's and gotten 50 of them for two dollars. Melissa, I don't know what to say, other than the fact that I most definitely understand what you're going through. In fact, it wasn't up until the end of this year that all my hard work and dedication to things started paying off. Up until then, I just felt like I was doomed to be second best, second rate, passed over, and cast off for the rest of my life. Your time in the light will come. What you've chosen to do is a long road full of rejections, but stay strong and keep going, because what you are waiting for is that chance that may be given to you tomorrow, next week, or five years from now.

Oh, and ouch. You had a great year with many parts in plays and medleys. Maybe you should reflect your happiness instead of demean others. It does hurt.
