State of the Union/s
Format stolen from Aviy because I like the idea.
SOHRYU ASUKA LANGLEY
The State: She is okay, if still bitchy and frustrated at being in camp. She's gotten the feel of the place now and while she doesn't have the routine of home to keep her in line, she finds plenty to fault in camp and that keeps her occupied... all day. Mostly she's glad she has a cabin with vaguely decent people in it, that Misato is here so that she at least knows she wasn't the only one duped into coming, and she now has A PLAN!!1 regarding the bees. Whether the plan works or not remains to be seen, but she likes the fact that she's calling the shots on something.
The Datenroku people confuse her, yes. She still wouldn't be too surprised if they suddenly went "LOL JK" at her. Then she would kill them. It's not even Rei and Shinji that bother too much, it's more Kaworu, since he seems like the leader and recognised her when she's never met him. She... is definitely not considering the idea that there's another version of her out there. That would be bad. The fireworks won't really start until another version of one of them turn up.
The Plans: The bake sale, harrassing people like Asch and Ronan more, er... being friendly with more people. Maybe have her do the sweet little girl act for a whole week and see how many people find it disturbing.
The Posts: BAKE SALE. Kicking Shinji into the mecha simulators.
The OOC: Maybe finish iconning volumes 8 and 9 of the manga, though you can't get much out of those besides trauma. Download the subbed version of Rebuild 1.0 and watch it. Do some pimping posts for Angelic Days.
CHRNO
The State: Not very good. Canonly he is pretty much never separated from Rosette so I am having some trouble getting his mindset in order. He seems pretty accepting of the fact that it happened and is mostly waiting for his turn to leave. He's also trying to keep tabs on Joshua beyond when he goes bonkers and tries to rip his spine out. Other than that, I... am not sure how he is! Logically I know how he might be, but when I start playing him it's a bit strange and inaccessible. He's become a backburner and that's very odd since he used to be my secondary.
The Plans: Get him out more to establish new relationships, and reestablish old ones. Bounce him off more demons. DEAGE HIM TO FIFTY-FOUR YEARS AGO. Meet Hazel sometime, for the lolz.
The Posts: Another one of those "What's your occupation?" posts. The de-aging one. Anything else that comes to mind.
The OOC: Maybe review canon. Finish the god damned activity logs on his journal.
MOTOSUWA HIDEKI
The State: (he gets to be pink because he's CLAMP) Hideki's doing pretty well! He's been here almost six months now and gets it. Granted things are still liable to make him flip out at the drop of a hat but that's just how Hideki is. He's almost gotten the hang of using these strange laptops, and he's made some friends, and ... got some study done. Once. During the blizzard. He is totally on top of things. Hideki IS still worried about Chii. I don't often play out him even mentioning Chii, but he's not the sort to bring it up unless the conversation goes that way. He misses her A LOT and is kind of alksdjfakl ;; when he thinks about how loooong he's been awaaaaaay. But Hideki is an optimistic guy! He probably goes and punches the barrier every so often and YELLS AT IT!!!!11! Otherwise, he is cruising quite nicely, though I don't play him as much as I should.
The Plans: Comment moar. Have him talk to more people and establish some friendships. Have him freak out over very small things, preferrably in the middle of a crowded room for maximum embarrassment. Maybe blue-screen a Moogle from terrible failure at life.
The Posts: Anything, really. More ridiculous computer fail.
The OOC: ...not much! Maybe reread canon? I don't go over canons much in general. |D
RICK O'CONNELL
The State: He's cool. Rick is a character I don't think about if I'm not playing. Which, yeah, does mean I end up not thinking about him for weeks on end, but he's not the kind of character I go IN DEPTH with. Rick is happy that his wife went home because honestly, that means someone is looking after Alex and making sure Jonathon isn't inviting loads of women around to his house. He goes around doing his job, capping zombies in the ass, and mostly keeping to himself. He wanders into camp every now and then for food and maybe socialising. Still gets attacked at 4pm every day by all zombies in camp. Because that is what life is like for Rick O'Connell.
The Plans: Er, play him. Try to thread more instead of waiting for posts. Catch the YGO cast more. Maaaybe forge a relationship or two.
The Posts: I could do the 4pm zombie attack one again.
The OOC: Now I'd say "finish capping Mummy Returns and make icons" but it's just not going to happen at this point. Returns is silly anyway.
NICHOLAS D. WOLFWOOD
The State: ...borderline! I think Wolfwood has reached the tipping point between being OKAY with being in camp and NOT BEING OKAY with being in camp. He's fine right now, but there is a lot of frustration under the surface and it wouldn't take much to push him into a "FUCK, I HATE THIS PLACE" phase. He does like being here and he likes everyone he knows and he is okay with his situation but it's been two and a half years. That's kind of a long time for him to be in one place, and it's starting to drive him a bit nuts. Simon leaving kind of kickstarted it because he was one of his closest friends outside of canon and, wow, a lot of those people have left already. Being able to talk to Gwendal and tentatively start their relationship again helped a bit, but that's not really the core of his issues. He's not going to just explode or anything, but the frustration is there and he knows it. Basically he's getting tired of still being here when everyone else has gone, even though he doesn't know if he has a future outside of this place. He can deal, but he's starting to not like it.
Also, he's a woman right now. :|
The Plans: Get him posting again and talking to people he's lost contact with. Get him talking to NEW people, for that matter. De-age him so I can cause Livio pain. Maybe try to evict Vash again, that's always fun. Get him into a fight, either with a character or monster.
The Posts: De-aging. One of those "give us a fact about yourself" posts. Possibly make up some ridiculous warning for new people about what happens when you've been here too long.
The OOC: Reread some Trigun that ISN'T volumes 9 and 10.
TAKEBE YOUHEI
The State: Youhei is very zen with camp. He hasn't been here long but he kinda likes it, it's interesting. He's happy to see Rena again and will be happier once they get a cabin. Once he's scoped the place out properly he'll go somewhere out of sight and use his jinki to test himself. He's not exactly WORRIED about having his jinki, but he does think it's very strange and he's a bit concerned about what it means for Riku. Nothing he can do about it here though, so c'est la vie.
The Plans: Have him establish friendships... TALK TO PEOPLE MORE THAN ONCE, I KNOW I CAN DO IT 8(. Use his jinki in some way. Move into a cabin with Rena.
The Posts: No idea, really. Doesn't seem like much of a poster right now.
The OOC: Finish colour-scheming those jinki icons that I didn't complete. Icon some of the newer chapters. Maybe scan in better quality images for those chapters that were crappy resolution. Scan in the omakes and author notes from volumes 1 and 2.
