Okay, I'll bite. Anything you might conceivably want a mini-essay on for either Wolfwood or Livio, ask away. IC, OOC or canon questions are all cool. Or if there was something about Anakin you wanted to know before he left that I haven't covered, I can do that too. Maybe. If my brain works right.

Wolfwood's opinions on Simon. Because I shun relationship memes.

Weeeell, let me see if I can organise my thoughts on this. I think, in my previous memes, I said that Wolfwood thought Simon was highly strung and needed to relax. I believe this was before he knew about River's predicament, and while that's somewhat changed his opinion, he STILL thinks Simon needs to calm down a bit. It's no wonder, to him, why Simon seems to be on the verge of a breakdown sometimes because he does it to himself.

Just reviewed the last meme... Wolfwood does think Simon's a good person, and he likes talking to him. Obviously he does, or he wouldn't bother; he doesn't give people he dislikes the time of day. I can't exactly say what made him bother talking to him in the beginning, because the only link they had was that Simon was the doctor on the scene when Gwendal broke Wolfwood's ribs. He appreciated that Simon was trying to help, especially when Gwendal was being all RAR SOY UN MONSTRUO. However, there are a few key things that happened that makes Wolfwood appreciate Simon's company ( ... )

Then we have Wolfwood's situation with Livio, which also pings him as kind of similar to Simon and River. Not exactly the same, of course, but there are parallells. He knows how damned hard it is to deal with someone who's not quite right mentally, who could go off at any time and seriously hurt someone, or him. Wolfwood hates himself because he wasn't able to prevent Livio from befalling the same fate he did, and couldn't save him. Even though he did in fact save Livio before he died in another way, he doesn't see it that way really. What I'm getting at is that he respects Simon for sticking to it, and not giving up on it. He probably sees Simon as more successful than he was.

Now, Simon's pessimism. Wolfwood doesn't like it. He knows he can't really make Simon see differently, not unless there was some life-changing moment around the corner for him, but he's not going to let it drop either. Wolfwood does not see the point in living every day expecting to die. Because, wtf, no. That's not living. That's waiting. He knows Simon's ( ... )
