We buried Dad this morning. Well, committed him to a mausoleum, anyway. It's been a grueling almost-week, but I want to thank everyone for the kind comments. I don't have the energy to respond to them individually, but I read them all and appreciate them very much ( Read more... )

Im only just getting to all this LJ rubbish now - and I feel it is my duty to to point out that is such a time as this, I am astounded at your ability to keep you grammar and spelling so spot on - mausoleum (good work)..
Its all part of the big circle...seems like your coping pretty well.

I think it's pretty much become my least favorite airport. "International" should be stripped from the title, considering every restaurant and shop closes around 11pm, and the place becomes a ghost town after that.

And assuming one is able to sleep on the floor or in those horrible gate chairs, hope is dashed yet again because their floor waxing machines sound like leaf blowers.

And since it's so conveniently located near ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, a lot of floor sleeping goes on there.
