I do not know her age, but it is quite normal for children to go through a period of not accepting responsibility for their actions. As to the crying - do adults back off on the lecture or tell her it's "ok" when she cries. It could be a manipulative action whereas the angry look is for those individuals that she knows she can not manipulate. But again, that is a normal reaction - depending on her age.
also, the adults respond differently, most back off and ask what's wrong? the mad look seems to preclude an episode of destroying something or scratching herself or hitting herself-I forgot to mention, but only saw her do that twice. She also isn't from a normal upbringing-she was abused about 5 years ago and the mother is out of the picture. She seems a lot more happy though from when she first came to live with me a year ago.
