Best description of the Sistine Chapel

My 17 year old son has a wicked sense of humor. He was helping his girlfriend with her AP Western Civ summer project, part of which is dealing with homosexuality during the Renaissance. He said that Michelangelo had to be gay because David was nude and the Sistine Chapel was "two naked guys on clouds holding hands"!

hahaha. I have never heard that theory either. ;D maybe an art historian in training. The sad thing is I've heard worse renaissance theories *cough* di vinci code derivative dribble *cough*

As a pure story I liked the DaVici Code book, never saw the movie. As far as art histoy goes, yeah it was a bit sketchy. But the Sistine Chapel line still has me laughing.

I am just proud to know that he has heard of Michelangelo and knows he painted the Sistine Chapel. Maybe not all of the trips to museums were in vain!
