Sorry, I'm illiterate. But if you want a recommendation... Trapped in the Closet?

I laughed out loud for a good five minutes at that.
I know this sounds lame, but I like how we've stuck together for the past four(?) years. F'rill.

Okay, I havent read it but they are making a movie that looks good out of that memoir called "Running With Scissors." and the book has to be amazing.
One Hundred Years of Solitude by Marquez
Lolita by Nabokov

What do you want to be now ? Because being one of those rebellious senior citizens sounds pretty fun.
Hmm, well, avoiding the usual recommendations (i.e. The Bell Jar), how about:
The Phantom Tollbooth by Norton Juster (Roald Dahl-esque), The Outsiders by SE Hinton, and Out of the Dust by Karen Hesse (about the Dust Bowl in the US's Midwest, but in poems). They're all simple reads.
Currently I'm reading Everything is Illuminated by Jonathan Safran Foer and Lithium for Medea by Kate Braverman and I'm enjoying them allot.

I am not so sure about that right now.

Oh, Foer's Everything is Illuminated was a great book ! Thanks for the other recommendations. I will look into them.
