it's 5.1 megapixels and has 3x optical zoom and it's $500.
i don't like it though because it has a huge display on the back and it will drain the battery because there is no viewfinder so you HAVE to use the display.

it's heavy for a little camera too. might i suggest the pentax optio s4i. it's smaller and it fits inside an altoid's box. :) it's 4 megapixels.... and it makes cat noises too! hahaha.

I bought the new DSC P150 on ebay for $435 and it is 7 megapixels.
It's better.

i'm not too fond of it. if you are in the market for a 5 megapixel camera you can do much better than this one.
