Title: Sins of the Father (10/10) Final
Author:
singoutloud25Pairing: JunSeung, DooSeob, KiWoon
Rating: PG-13
Genre: AU, Romance
Summary: The lives of these six young men would now forever be changed. They will become what they once feared and hated. They will become violent, dangerous, aggressive, and one will even become a murderer. They will become feared, hated, strong, and powerful. Some will grow to hate themselves and some will become dead and numb inside. Some will lose hope and some will never dare to dream.
Author's Notes: The point that I hope to convey throughout this story is that true friendship (a bond of love and trust and faith) is so strong that it can withstand anything. That the bond of true friendship (even when you are pulled away from and forced to leave the ones you love) will always remain, even when you feel that all is lost, that bond still remains deep within you.
Oh my gosh I can't believe this is the end *sobs* Thank you sooo much for all of you who have stuck through this with me, I truly appreciate each and every one of you. I know this is short, but this is how I pictured this ending and I had to stick with my initial feelings about it. I hope you enjoyed reading this as much as I enjoyed writing it. Thank you♥

“If the sun shuts down and decided not to shine no more, I would still have you. If we see the last day and they say we gotta go to war, I’ll be fighting with you. Because it’s us against the world.”
-Christina Milian “Us Against the World”
Yoseob entered the old rundown building, the place he and the others once called their secret home. The sun was beginning to set, the brightness of its final rays shining through the broken windows and door-less entryway.
Yoseob walked into the middle of the room and crouched down. He wiped away some dirt off the floor, a small smile forming as his fingers traced the outline of letters carved into the wooden floor.
DJ, Jun, Seung, Yoyo, Kiki, Woon
He stood up at the sound of footsteps behind him, a full smile forming as a set of arms wrapped around his waist and a pair of warm lips left a lingering kiss on his cheek.
“I can’t believe those are still there.”
“I can.” Yoseob placed his hands over Doojoon’s. “It’s a sign.”
Doojoon chuckled. “A sign?”
Yoseob turned around so he was facing Doojoon, wrapping his arms around the latter’s waist. “Yeah. They’re still there, after all of this time, after everything that this place has gone through over the years, they’re still there. They might be a little faded and worn with some marks and signs that the world got to them at times, but they’re still there.”
Doojoon smiled, catching on to what Yoseob was hinting at. He placed a small kiss on Yoseob’s nose. “I think you’re right.”
“Right about what?”
Doojoon and Yoseob looked at the entryway just as Dongwoon and Kikwang entered the building. Dongwoon, with a sucker in his mouth, was giving Kikwang a piggyback ride.
Kikwang smiled. “Right about what?”
“Nothing.” Yoseob smiled. “A piggyback ride?”
Kikwang kissed Dongwoon’s neck, grabbed the sucker out of the latter’s mouth, and climbed off of his back. He then promptly began sucking on the red lollipop.
Doojoon cringed. “That’s disgusting.”
Kikwang’s eyes lit up. He grinned, took the sucker out of his mouth, and ran it across Dongwoon’s lips, the younger male shrugging his shoulders before opening his mouth and taking the sucker back.
Yoseob laughed at the horrified look on Doojoon’s face. Dongwoon grinned and was about to hand the sucker back to Kikwang when a clearing of the throat brought their attention to the entryway.
“Please, do not do that again.” Junhyung leaned against the doorframe, his arms hanging at his sides. “It really is disgusting.”
There was a soft chuckle behind him. “I think it’s cute.”
Hyunseung stood next to Junhyung, his hand linking with the other males.
Kikwang grinned. “Thank you.” He then took the sucker from Dongwoon.
“You’re welcome.” Hyunseung squeezed Junhyung’s hand as he led him into the building.
“How’s your shoulder today?” Yoseob rested his head on Doojoon’s shoulder.
“Better, but this damn arm brace is starting to piss me off.” Hyunseung removed his hand from Junhyung’s and began pulling at the white strap around his neck. “It itches like crazy.”
“Yah.” Junhyung swatted Hyunseung’s hand away. “You’re not supposed to mess with it. The doctor said you only have to keep it on for another week.” He gently scratched where Hyunseung’s hand just was before giving the spot a quick kiss.
“Yeah, another week of annoying itching.”
Junhyung wrapped his arms around Hyunseung’s waist, resting his chin on the latter’s shoulder. “What does one week of itching matter when you have the rest of your life ahead of you?”
Everyone went quiet, all thinking about the same thing; that Hyunseung was alive and still with them.
Hyunseung smiled, his non-confined hand resting over Junhyung’s. He looked around the building, taking in the tattered and cracked walls and ceiling, the dirt covered floor with cracks and holes. He took in the couch, the only intact piece of furniture, and the remaining pieces of the coffee table that used to be in front of it.
“We should clean this place up.” He smiled at the others.
Doojoon grinned. “I think we should too.”
“It can be our place again.” Yoseob linked his fingers with Doojoon’s.
Dongwoon wrapped an arm around Kikwang’s shoulders. “We’re still the only ones who know about it. It can still be our secret.”
“Can we at least get some beds in here this time?” Kikwang blinked at the incredulous looks thrown his way. “What?”
Dongwoon laughed and pulled the sucker out of Kikwang’s hand, grinning as he put it in his own mouth. “Sounds good to me.”
Doojoon blinked while everyone else laughed. “What the hell is wrong with you two?”
Yoseob grinned. “It’s just a sucker.” He then, much to Doojoon’s horror, took the sucker from Dongwoon and began sucking on it.
“It’s good too.” He looked at the babies. “Raspberry?”
Kikwang and Dongwoon nodded their heads, grins ear to ear.
“Yang Yoseob, take that out of your mouth right now.” Doojoon went to grab the sucker, but Yoseob slapped his hand away.
“Not until you give me a kiss first.”
Doojoon looked appalled. “Absolutely not.”
Yoseob pouted and before Doojoon could even think of being affected by it, Yoseob’s lips were covered by Kikwang’s.
It took Doojoon several seconds to realize what was happening and when everything clicked he let out an indigent yah before lunging at Kikwang, the latter running and jumping over the couch. Everyone laughed as Doojoon went after him.
Junhyung’s hands covered Hyunseung’s, the other male’s body shaking from laughter. He smiled, his lips ghosting over Hyunseung’s ear.
“I love you.”
Hyunseung stopped laughing as he turned around in Junhyung’s arms.
“Hm?” His smile was bright, his eyes sparkling.
Junhyung grinned. “You’re going to make me say it a lot aren’t you.”
Hyunseung’s fingers caressed the side of Junhyung’s face. “Probably.”
“I love you.” Junhyung placed his forehead against Hyunseung’s. “I love you.”
Hyunseung wrapped his arm around Junhyung’s neck, bringing the latter closer, their lips brushing. “I love you too.”
Their lips met for a brief moment, their grins matching, their eyes glowing.
They went to kiss again, but were stopped as a pair of arms wrapped around them. Those arms were followed by another pair and another and another.
Junhyung and Hyunseung smiled as they were enveloped in a hug by the four people they loved the most. They smiled as their eyes met with the others eyes, all sparkling and happy and full of life. They smiled as their chests tightened, because this is where the six of them were meant to be…together, side by side.
Junhyung and Hyunseung smiled as their eyes locked with each other’s. They smiled as Junhyung pulled Hyunseung closer until their lips met. They smiled as they kissed, because this is how they were meant to be…together, in each other’s arms.
The six of them stayed in that hug for a long time, holding onto and loving one another. They smiled and laughed, hands holding and caressing, arms squeezing, eyes shining. And when the hug ended they exited the building hand in hand, because their destinations were the same.
The six of them were headed home, headed to a new home and a new beginning. A new beginning full of promises and hope and love. A new beginning that didn’t include hate and pain and loneliness and longing. A new beginning that was made possible because of hope and the faith that the bonds of true friendship and love never die.
