This is John Connor. Most of you don't know me, or have any reason to trust the things I'm about to say. I just ask that you listen and hopefully that will be enough.
None of us had a choice in coming here, but we do have a choice now. A choice of whether or not we allow ourselves to be manipulated and used as pawns in a war between the Hypatia and the Resistance. Unfortunately we don't have the option of simply staying neutral. War doesn't work that way. We're going to get dragged into this no matter what, it's simply a fact at this point. If we are going to though, I want to do it on our terms. Give both sides something they weren't expecting. We are a means to them, tools and weapons to be used until broken and then discarded. It has happened before and if we do not act it will happen again. The signs are there and we cannot afford to ignore them like so many others before us have in this place and in our own worlds. The price of inaction is too high.
We are from many different worlds, different universes, different times. Humans, aliens, machines. We are more different than we are alike, but those distinctions shouldn't matter right now. There needs to be an us, a unified us, because there is most certainly a them and they are coming. We need to be ready for them. They're fighting a war of annihilation, of total destruction. If we are going to survive here we will have to confront them, all of them. The only way we can do that is together, as one. Otherwise we will be destroyed.
I'm not promising a way home, there might not even be one. What I am promising is a chance, a chance to survive and maybe find a way home. Cooperation, or annihilation, those are our only choices.
