You didn't tell me you had a cafe! Where is it? I definitely want a pie. And pumpkin everything, because that sounds amazing and I was a little too busy to try it when it was Halloween last year...

I do! Gosh, should have said that in the first place! Yupperoos, best cafe on the station! Only cafe on the station, well, only proper one. Nothing against robots, but unless you've got a healthy AI in there, there's just no way you can make a proper cuppa or a tasty muffin!

[By the time May arrives, Camille has switched to a black cat wearing a pumpkin on its head. She lifts a paw and waves as May walks in.] Halloooo!

[ May grins at the sight of Camille, waves back, and slides into a seat near her. ] Hey there!

You're really getting into the holiday, huh? Cute hat!

...good point. Man, that's gonna take some getting used to.

[ She leans against the counter, fingers laced under her chin, and tilts her head for a moment while she considers. ] Ummm... you have pumpkin pie, right? 'Cause I've never actually had it, and Toby hates October - I think it's just out of spite, 'cause of her name, y'know? not that she's really big on holidays in general - so I don't even remember what it tastes like to her, but it sounds amazing!

Her name? Not sure what "Toby" has to do with "October"! In any case, yes, pumpkin pie! And pumpkin scones, and pumpkin chai, and pumpkin lattes, and pumpkin muffins, and pumpkin cupcakes and pumpkin everything! Really, no one should go through life without pumpkin!

[She hops up onto the counter and over it, digs around in the display case, and reappears carrying a slice of pumpkin pie on a plate, balancing it on her tail. She then nimbly hops back over to May and sets it before her.] There you go, hon!

Oh, October's her full name. October Daye... it's a thing. Or her mother wanted to torture her...

[ Okay, May? Is weirdly impressed by the whole 'balancing the pie on her tail' thing. And it shows. ] Thank you very much! So, um. For future reference or whatever... am I allowed to pet you? All of the Cait Sidhe I know would take my hand off for trying to pet them - well, they'd try, anyway - but that kitty shape is really cute.
