Don't know about the rest of you, but back home, November 11th is called Veterans Day. Or Remembrance Day or-- well there's a lot of names for it. Mostly it's to honour the servicemen and women that have dedicated themselves to defending their countries or homeworlds, either in war or peacetime

Um, I don't remember the prayers for fallen soldiers, but we recite the De Profundis every Mass for ourselves and on behalf of the dead.
