[ The video opens with a very close-up shot of... something sniffing at the wearable - this close up, it's really just a blur of grayish brown and pink. As it draws back, it resolves into the image of a more or less feline creature. If a cat mated with a rosebush, this thing would be the result: it's mostly cat-shaped, but covered in thorns rather than fur, and obviously not colored like any cat that ever lived.

[ Spike chirps at the sound of his name, and rattles his thorns. ]
Spike's my pet from home. Well, Toby's and mine - she named him, so he technically belongs to her, but he's both our baby. I guess he must've fallen through the rift after Toby and tracked her down.
He's a rose goblin, and he's harmless, so if you see him wandering around outside... don't freak out or anything. He's not a monster, just kind of strange-looking. And be nice to him, please? He's pretty skittish around humans.
