[To say that CT hadn't checked out the network first would be a sore underestimation of her paranoia. Just arriving in a new place had thrown her for a huge loop and she did not want to be caught with her figurative pants down again. Never again. So, after doing some investigation of her own, CT's finally approaching the network, but not without heavy, military-grade encryption. She would rather do all the information gathering on her own, but there's elements that have to be asked of others. Still, who says any of them are going to tell the truth?
