[Of course this had to happen while she was nowhere near her apartment. LOL Audio because she doesn't want anyone seeing her like this. She certainly sounds frustrated enough.]

So, pertaining to the teleporter malfunctions; how can I fix it?

It's served me well in the past.

[Carolina could be patient when she wanted, planning out her line of attack, assessing intel before making a decision. In this case she fiured it would be best to sit and wait and see how things played otut. She was already faitly certain this was he same anonymous texter as before, and wanted to sit down and compare the conversaions to be sure.]

[Of course, how much she could acually accomplish as a pony remained to be een.]<>

[CT's pretty sure she knows exactly how well it's served Carolina and it really doesn't fill CT with much hope for herself. Not that she had much to start with.]

THINGS CHANGE. [She's barely, barely holding back a---- nope.] NUMBER TWO.

[The important part is that this narrows the field down tremendously -- this was someone familiar with Project Freelancer, not just a stranger on the network that happened to get lucky. The unimportant part ]s that rubs Carolina completely the wrong way.]

[There's a dangerous fire in her voice.] You're right. They do change. And they can change back.

[Except she's not so sure on that last part. True, Tex wasn't here, the ranking board wasn't here, her team was not at all the team she knew. ]

[CT takes some small victory in having pissed Carolina off. That is, until she realizes that a pissed off Carolina will probably work even harder to find her.

Brilliant, brilliant plan.]

NO THEY DON'T. [She's pretty sure forgiveness on anyone's part won't come that easily. Which she totally doesn't want anyway, jeez.]

[Yup. Best plan. Carolina's going to be upping her attempts to figure you out :| ]

[Also, the truth behind CT's comment just stokes the fire. She knows it's true, but she doesn't want to admit it.] They will.

THEY WON'T. [She's hoping that she can at least hide behind that response.]

THAT DIDN'T WORK THE FIRST TIME. [Although this time it did get close. She really needs to clamp down and get her head screwed back on straight.]

I'm on to you. Don't answer me all you want, I'll find out what I want to know whether you want me to or not. You know me, then you know I get things done.

[CT has to remind herself that it wasn't Carolina who found that she'd been sending transmissions to the Insurrectionists, it wasn't Carolina who had found her in the desert. Those had both been accidents. ]

I WILL.

[No, no it hadn't been. But guess who's on speaking terms with the guy who did?]

Enjoy your lie.
