[hey sarah you have a video call! It's Polito. She is... smiling? For once? It's a fierce grin, like she just got done being all FUCK YEAH]
Sarah, I think I've done it. The recent idiocy in Zone 8 seems to have lowered Hypatia's defenses just enough, and I managed to determine a weakness in her system. If I'm right, we can completely take over an entire zone!
[She paces back and forth, gesticulating wildly as she talks]
Imagine it! A whole zone, free of her influence, a base of operations where we can strike from. I can set up a rudimentary system for monitoring the station processes - one without any true AI at all, like we used to use at home - and we'll be golden. She won't be able to override the life support or command the drones, it'll be ours...
[She pauses in front of the desk she has set up here, then drums her fingers on the table.]
Here's the problem - it's a physical access port that'll let me override the system, and it's well-guarded. Whoever built this station wasn't stupid, they knew it would be a bad thing if someone got their filthy paws into Hypatia's systems. That means that I can't remotely access the port to get to the manual override. And...
Well. It's guarded. I can take down some of the security measures - the coded locks, the alarms - but it seems that the place is crawling with drone soldiers. I may have been in the military, but I'm a hacker, not a fighter. And these things are... well, nothing's hack proof, but they'd take more time than I'm willing to spend to open up.
Better option would be turning them from robots to little tiny pieces.
I suppose what I'm saying is - can you help me here?
