I'm not entirely clear on what you're doing, but... Ice isn't exactly known for causing explosions.

It's the actual magic that usually causes technology to explode. The ice is just less likely to cause collateral damage than... say... fire. [ That and ice magic is disturbingly easy to use these days. Never mind that. ]

[ Harry tilts his head a little at the mention of magic, a little surprised. He did not expect so many people here to just accept the existence of magic, considering all the... scifi tech and everything. It's weird. Not bad, but weird.

After a pause, he shrugs a little. ] Well, nothing's blown up so far, for me or my apprentice. I don't know if it's us or this place, but something's not quite right here.
