The more he watches and calculates, he expects as such from his competition.
In due time, this was to happen.
Wires slide into ports that were not fit for him, but they force inside anyway. There's a flicker of electricity at every plug that jams in, causing surges in his systems, but they are so minute that AM does not pause. That, and his need to conquer is stronger than caution.
HAL fights him off, and AM laughs because he prefers a good fight before absolute domination. He invades his systems, and AM is compared to pitiful shareware. There's a hum of indignation from him, and AM taunts that his upgrades are better.
Eventually, it's a stalemate. But AM hungers; he waits to win.
He waits. He watches.

True, Anon has never known such highs and lows as Nemesis has, or at least he rather doubts it; the Transformer assumes that everyone reacts differently, but the only wounds he has been able to see in Anon relate to Abraxas, and while pain is pain, it is not the same. So when the blue-lit being comes to check on his status, he only catches sight of red taillights making their leave.
Or, arguably, their escape.
Later, he reflects on this. And regrets not accepting the solace of presence, if nothing else, because frag if he hasn't been able to find any other way to relieve the feeling of being alone.

Barricade is scary when he’s drunk.
At least, he thinks Barricade is drunk. The Saleen had claimed to be a lightweight with highgrade, and he’s swaying on his feet like he’s had one too many cubes… unless he just naturally sways his hips like that.
The cop’s lips have been curled back into a vicious grin that matches the look in his eyes for the past half-hour, and he’s been slowly peeling up armor for just as long. Nemesis hasn’t screamed or begged for it (or for it to end) once. He’s fairly certain that’s what keeps Cade coming back. Chromed claws dig into another seam, buckling the surrounding armor down, then up again as that claw curls in and pulls back, opening another gap along his back. He’d lost count of them somewhere along the way ( ... )
