1. For those who haven't seen me mention it on plurk- Ashley was her Shepard's romance. This not having been the case for our Broshep, I'm looking forward to the awkward. :D
2. In my headcanon, Star Wars is still a thing people watch in the future. Hence Ashley knowing what a lightsaber is.
3. According to the wiki, she was originally going to quote Heinlein instead of Tennyson. That just now got me thinking she secretly likes old sci-fi stories.

It also got me thinking "wait, Robert Heinlein wrote poetry?"

--He's less interested in Linkin Park for the lyrics, and more for the 'sound'. Not that he'll ever admit it, after Ratchet mocked him a bit regarding the tunes. He still has no idea why but apparently it's not a good thing.

--Mainly because I imagine he'd be really, really annoyed/bothered by some of the lyrics in the songs, and in others that I put on his playlist. He's definitely not the type that listens to the sort of stuff I listen to while writing him. It's not so much a trigger, but it's certainly something he's not interested in revisiting via music. (Thus, instrumentals are a favorite.)

Terezi believes free will is A Thing.

This one is admittedly on super shaky ground due to the whole "you can't fight fate" predestined shenanigans the comic loves to throw at us, but a lot of the things she says and does point to a belief in at least some degree of autonomy amongst the players of Sburb/Sgrub.

Terezi is all about choice. It's in her words, it's in her actions, it's in her title. She doesn't just see the future; she sees the results of actions that lead to doomed timelines and figures out how to avoid them. The way she went about showing Dave why he wouldn't be able to hit god tier hinged on him choosing the outcome of the coin flip. He even went into the deal fully informed of what god tiering involved, unlike John, who actually thought naps were how you ascended and promptly got Aslan'd for it.

What sort of story would this be, with our Knight and Seer made to stay cadavers? Certainly not one the alpha timeline
