Jaejoong sat in the back of the class room, by the window.
No one sat near him, no one noticed him. The teacher never called out his name to answer a question or to give back a paper, they had probably forgotten he was there too.
He could he the other students chattering and gossiping. Excited whispers about last nights game and how well the team played, especially one Jung Yunho.
Speaking of Jung Yunho, it happened again last night just like every game. Jaejoong hoped that one day the emotion in those eyes would give him the strength to finally talk to his love. But he just knew that day wasn't coming anytime soon.
Sometimes he thought of himself foolish, it was obvious that Yunho was straight, so why did he fool himself into believing the other man could feel the same?
He knew that deep down in his soul he had faith, just a small slither of hope. That hope was what kept Jaejoong going, what helped him sleep at night and wake in the morning.
He sighed as he heard the class bell ring and the teacher walk in. This was going to be a long day.
…......................................
Finally lunch time, the one time he could get away from the preppy masses of students.
He always eat lunch on the roof. No one went up there so he had his peace and quiet.
He walked through the halls with his head down, dodging his way through a barrage of students. He felt his head hit something solid and cursed himself for running into a wall. Only when he looked up it was a wall at all. Jaejoong's eyes widen, 'Oh shit'
Park Yoochun stood there and behind a few more of the basketball play playings; Choi Siwon, Shim Changmin, and Jung Yunho.
Yoochun gave Jaejoong an odd look, “Are you new here?”
Jaejoong froze and felt his heart stop. If Yoochun thought he was new here than wouldn't Yunho think the same?
He stuttered out a “N-no.” Before turning on his heel and walked away, not noticing the pair of eyes that followed his every move.
He was a nobody, that's all he'll ever be.

That little episode a week ago caused a lot of problems for Jaejoong.
After going home and crying for about three days straight he decided to give up. He knew it was all just his imagination, Yunho was probably looking behind him or something at the games. He probably the only one who took the look seriously.
With his heart broken, shattered into too many pieces to fix, Jaejoong tried to be normal again. He had been in love with Yunho for two years so it was a great adjustment to his life.
He stopped going to the basketball games. Why hurt himself even further? Watching that gorgeous man play.
Now he sat in the library after school, it was completely empty save for him. Just the way he liked it, he could do his work in peace and not have to worry about anything else. The library was his sanctuary.
Although right now he didn't want to work, the only thing on his mind was Jung Yunho.
'Your supposed to be forgetting him.' Jaejoong inwardly scolded himself. He had been avoiding the other in school, even though Yunho probably hasn't noticed he was there at all. But Jaejoong couldn't stand to be near him. Every time he was his breath would hitch, he'd freeze and just watch that god of a man walk by or talk. He'd feel his heart pounding in his chest so hard it felt like it was going to burst. Jaejoong didn't want to feel like that anymore.
People always said that 'being in love' was one of the best feelings in the world but for him it was the worst. It reminded him of what he could never have.
Jaejoong sat there, arms cradling with head on the table, lost in thought. Thinking about that perfect man who he knew would never leave his thoughts.
He didn't notice that soon he wasn't the only one in the library.
“Excuse me, mind if I sit here?”
Jaejoong jumped in shock, someone was talking to him and that someones voice was soft and flowed straight to Jaejoong's heart. He didn't want to look up but his body betrayed him.
Jaejoong near took a heart attack.
Standing in front of him was Jung Yunho.
“Can I sit here?”
Why would he want to seat here? Every other table was empty.
Jaejoong managed to nod and watch the man sit down across from him.
Jaejoong couldn't help but stare at him, he had never been this closed to Yunho before. His brown hair looked silky and soft, his warm chocolate brown eyes seemed to smile at him while he could almost count every eye lash that framed those perfect eyes. He could see scars, but they only him look better, his lips were plump and pink and right above them was a small beauty mark.
“Are you memorizing my face?” The soft voice spoke again.
Jaejoong turned bright red.
“Umm...no.” He went to turn his head away but then Yunho smiled, and god there was no way he was missing that.
“So...” Yunho propped his head up with his arm, his cheek resting in his hand. “You stopped coming to the basketball games, why? “
'He did notice me..' Jaejoong almost cried inwardly, he didn't want to get his hopes up for nothing but there were already up there, sky high.
“I-I didn't feel l-like going a-any more.” Jaejoong stuttered out shyly.
“You should start coming again.” Yunho reached over and grabbed Jaejoong petite hand. He held it in his own, intertwining their fingers.
Jaejoong looked into Yunho's eyes, those smoldering pools for chocolate brown bore into his own. Jaejoong could almost physically feel his heart being put back together. He felt those eyes dig deep into his soul.
Yunho smiled warmly at Jaejoong and Jaejoong smiled back, brightly and full of love.
Maybe just maybe he wasn't alone after all.

............................................
Jaejoong watched every basketball game for one reason.
At some point during every game Jung Yunho eye's would meet his, and he could feel the love him those eyes and it mended his heart. That gorgeous face would smile up at him and he'd offer a shy one back because :
Jung Yunho was a lot of things.
He was the schools most popular student and their Kingka.
He was one of the smartest student in the school.
He was the best basketball player on the schools undefeated team.
He was also the one man who held Kim Jaejoong's heart in his hands and he cherished it deeply.
